Viper Recordings – Branding Update
Viper Recordings has been around 15 years, having been established in 2004, the label has steadily grown over the years into one of drum and bass music’s most important independent labels. Although they have had a logo for some time, it was time they looked at creating a more iconic symbol away from the text based logo that would work alongside the existing branding.
They approached us to create this new symbol design, building on their previous logo to develop a more stand alone shape that represents the ethos of the label in 2018 and beyond.
We created this V shape which incorporates the viper image, the letter V of Viper and a heart bringing into line those three elements through a strong, cohesive design.
The deign will be launched soon and will coincide with the label’s 15th year anniversary marketing push which also includes a 15 year emblem designed by us.
